Fadnavis dismisses Thackeray’s supply

Addressing reporters in Nagpur, Fadnavis shrugged off the supply made by Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray to Nitin Gadkari for a Lok Sabha ticket from the opposition’s Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).

Fadnavis emphasised Gadkari’s significance throughout the BJP, stating, “Gadkari is our outstanding chief. He contests from Nagpur. When the primary record of candidates (of BJP) was launched, there had been no discussions amongst Mahayuti companions (BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP). When the discussions happen, Gadkari ji’s title would come up first (within the candidates’ record).”

Thackeray’s supply criticised

Fadnavis took a dig at Thackeray’s proposal, asserting, “The chief of such a celebration giving a suggestion to a national-level chief like Gadkari ji is akin to a small-time individual providing somebody the put up of US President.”

Earlier, at a rally on Thursday, Uddhav Thackeray had urged Gadkari to resign as an alternative of “bowing earlier than Delhi” and expressed his occasion’s dedication to securing Gadkari’s election as an MVA candidate.
